Lesson 7 – I only see the past

Text: Old ideas about time are very difficult to change, because everything you believe is rooted in time, and depends on your not learning these new ideas about it. Look at a cup…do you see a cup or are you merely reviewing your past experiences of picking up a cup, being thirsty, feeling the rim of the cup against your lips.

Learning: I was surprised to have Sage my youngest as my teacher for this lesson. I was speaking with my dearest Tom and I said it must be strange for Sage to see and not be able to move, to see a cup and then to see it disappear, or liquid to be in the cup and then gone. He shared that babies don’t have that level of awareness to understand what the cup is or liquid is, that they are completely in the moment with no past just experiencing. Fascinating to me this is, to have no past and live completely in the moment with no judgements or conditioning, how freeing to be able to live like that.

I have also felt quite heavy in my energy and in my field, will observe what is happening with this over the next week and report back.
